Isn’t it great having a teenager?  Ugh, I know it is tough on the kids having to go to Covid school (as I call it) I get that.  The schedule is confusing for them at times but when you are a parent and get an email from the front office staff that says your child missed Period 3, 4, 5, and 6 today.  I am seriously not kidding or exaggerating on that number my kiddo missed 4 classes online today.  Parenting during this time has been super difficult!

I have struggled with being a teacher and hovering around too much and then giving him freedom to know what he is supposed to do.  My Husband jokes that I will not be able to go to high school with him and carry his backpack.  Now I know that is funny, but it is also a huge eye opener.  It makes you wonder what is the best middle track when they are at home doing school?  When they attend school in person I felt like I had no idea what the class assignments were and when the tests were.  In retrospect, I feel like him doing school online I have the ability of knowing what the teachers expect out of him and it is slightly more transparent.  Is anyone else feeling the same way?
