A big part of my life for the last 10 years has been going to Disneyland every chance I get.  I always feel like a kid when I’m there.  My son just turned 14 so I’m guessing he might be close to stopping this tradition.  I’m a kid at heart, so I don’t think there will ever come a time that I don’t want to go.  Unfortunately, I’m writing this during the pandemic and Disneyland has been closed for 14 months.

Disneyland and CA Adventure for me is a feeling of happiness.  I live nearby so I have had the chance to go many times.  My Husband and I have done date night there when our son was little and would fall asleep in the stroller, we would get hot chocolates and funnel cake and find somewhere out of the way and just sit and talk.  My Mom and sister visit often for our girls weekend at Disneyland.  We get a hotel and go to the wine bar and then we walk at the end of the night back to the hotel.  We also have many friends that like to go during the day that I love to just go and hang out with until I need to come back and grab my Son from school.  Sometimes I would go by myself for the day if I had nothing going on.  Those days were pretty special because I would just walk around grab a coffee and a pretzel and just do whatever I felt like. Oh wow!  How I miss those days!

My favorite things to do at Disneyland are walk around, people watch, pin trade, and of course ride some rides.  My favorite rides are Haunted Mansion, Alice in Wonderland, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, and Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Tell me what do you all miss since this pandemic has started?
